High School Jersey Night
Each season, the Buffalo Bandits kick off the high school lacrosse year by honoring local programs across Section VI and the Monsignor Martin Athletic Association with a special on-floor recognition at a Bandits home game.
As part of this celebration, Bandits players take the floor for pregame warmups wearing jerseys representing local high school lacrosse programs. Each year, the Bandits request that schools send in one jersey for their program so it can be included in the warmup rotation. Teams that submit a jersey are represented on the floor during the event. If your school is not represented, please connect with your coach to coordinate sending in a jersey for future inclusion.
This initiative is designed to spotlight the full landscape of Western New York high school lacrosse before the season begins, connecting the Bandits organization directly to the programs that develop the next generation of players.
More than a gesture, High School Takeover Night is a tribute to the schools and communities that fuel the game in Western New York — bringing their identity into the arena and showcasing them in front of the Bandits fanbase.
