Jr. bandits elite usboxla championships team
Boys Jr. Bandits Elite is a competitive tournament team for players in the 2028/2029 and 2030/2031 graduation years that will compete at the USBOXLA Championships in Columbus, Ohio.
Teams will be coached by Tehoka Nanticoke, Zack Belter, and Nico Capron (coaching staff subject to change). Participation on this team serves as the wrap-up of the 2026 box lacrosse season. Tryout information for the 2026–27 box tournament season will be announced in the coming weeks.

Tryout Cost: $20 for new players. Players who participated on a 2025–26 Jr. Bandits Elite tournament team will receive a waived tryout fee.

Team Disclaimer
There are several local teams in each age group that have also qualified for this tournament. We are holding tryouts due to roster changes following a previous tournament, as another local team formed after our roster was already selected and several players subsequently moved on. If you are planning to play for one of those qualified teams, please do not attend these tryouts. Likewise, if you currently play for another program and are interested in trying out, please communicate with your coach before attending. The Jr. Bandits do not recruit players from other established teams.

USBOXLA Championships
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Dates: September 5–7, 2026
Hotel Information:
This is a stay-to-play tournament, and all teams are required to book accommodations through tournament-approved hotels. Players selected to the team will receive group hotel booking information following tryouts.
Required Equipment
Players must provide the following equipment:
Helmet with cage
Shoulder pads
Arm guards
Bicep pads
Kidney pads
Mouth guard
Gloves
Sneakers
Stick (short poles only; no wooden sticks. Goalies must use spoons)
Team Fee
The team fee will be $550 (goalies will be $275), with a $200 deposit due upon acceptance of a roster spot. Players needing a new uniform will incur an additional uniform fee.

Practice floor time
Tournament registration fee
Jr. Bandits shooter shirt
Four ticket vouchers redeemable for a 2026–27 Bandits regular-season home game (subject to availability)
Recognition at a TBD Bandits home game, including an on-floor honor before the game and two additional tickets for that event
Not included in the team fee:
Players selected to the team will also be required to purchase a USBOXLA membership. Hotels, gas, meals, etc are also not included in the team fee.
