Buffaloes Hold Off Late Blizzard Surge in Thriller
Buffaloes defeat Blizzard 7–6
The opening game of the night set the tone and proved to be the most exciting, as the Buffaloes edged the Blizzard by a single goal. The Buffaloes built a 7–4 lead with just over four minutes remaining before the Blizzard offense roared back, cutting the deficit to one and turning the final moments into a tense finish.
In goal, Oliver Gross shut the door when it mattered most, making key stops down the stretch to secure the win. On the other end, Jeffrey George was sharp early, recording 13 saves on 15 shots in the first half to keep the Blizzard within striking distance.
Offensively, the Buffaloes leaned on balance, with five different players finding the back of the net. The game-winning goal came off the stick of Cace Rainey. For the Blizzard, Anderson Ruff led the charge with three goals, while Evan Boorman added a goal and two assists in the late push.
Stampede Pull Away with Dominant Second Period
Stampede defeat Rapids 12–3
The second game of the night opened with a competitive first period, as the Stampede held a slim 4–2 lead over the Rapids. Once the second period began, however, the Stampede seized full control and never looked back.
Rex McComber delivered a herculean performance, piling up six goals and five assists to lead the offensive onslaught. Behind him, the goalie tandem of Raylon Hill and Macalo Holm combined to turn away 17 of the 20 shots they faced.
The Rapids got goals from Brantley Bachman, Archer Zurek, and Caiden Scull, but despite the early promise, they couldn’t keep pace as the Stampede surged to a decisive 12–3 victory.
Stealth Cruise to Convincing Win to Close the Night
Stealth defeat Glaciers 13–2
The final game of the night belonged to the Stealth, who capped off the evening with a commanding 13–2 win over the Glaciers. The Stealth offense was relentless, featuring several multi-goal performances throughout the lineup.
Harlen Mt Pleasant led the way with four goals, while Gionni Todaro posted three goals and an assist. Tony Rebmann added three goals of his own, and Brody Bachman chipped in with a strong all-around effort of two goals and three assists.
In net, Evgeni Pasquale was steady, allowing just two goals on 14 shots to earn his first win of the season. For the Glaciers, goals came from Evan Rizzo and Kayden Intihar, with Carter Gray picking up an assist. Despite the scoreline, Ryder Bauer faced heavy pressure, stopping 13 of 26 shots in a determined effort between the pipes.
