Boys and Girls Field Lacrosse Clinics Featuring Josh Byrne and Dhane Smith Set for June 28
This summer, the Buffalo Bandits are bringing two of the best offensive players in professional lacrosse to Nichols High School for a full day of field lacrosse instruction on Sunday, June 28. Players will have the opportunity to learn directly from Bandits stars while improving their offensive skills in a fun, competitive, and fast-paced environment.
The boys clinic will be led by Josh Byrne and is open to boys players in grades 2-12. Sessions will take place on Peek Field at Nichols High School with grade-specific time slots running throughout the morning and early afternoon. Byrne and special guest Bandits teammates will focus on offensive development, including dodging, shooting mechanics, creating separation, and improving overall lacrosse IQ. Boys players are required to bring a helmet, stick, gloves, and athletic sneakers or cleats. Elbow pads and chest protectors are recommended but not required.

Both clinics are $45 per session and include 75 minutes of on-field instruction from NLL professionals. Participants will also receive one complimentary voucher to a 2026-27 Bandits regular-season home game, with vouchers distributed in late November. Tickets are based on availability and are not guaranteed.
Goalies are welcome to attend both clinics at a discounted rate to take shots during drills and live reps, though goalie-specific instruction is not guaranteed. With limited spots available, these clinics offer a great opportunity for young players to sharpen their skills and learn from two of the top offensive players in the game.
