About Buffalo Bandits Youth Lacrosse

The Buffalo Jr. Bandits Youth Lacrosse Program is dedicated to developing the next generation of lacrosse players across Western New York through structured programming, high-level instruction, and meaningful experiences both on and off the floor.

Built in connection with the Buffalo Bandits organization, the Jr. Bandits provide a direct pathway into the game of lacrosse for athletes at all stages of development — from first-time players learning the fundamentals to advanced athletes preparing for high school competition.

Our focus goes beyond wins and losses. We are committed to teaching the game the right way, building confidence in young athletes, and creating an environment where players can grow as teammates, leaders, and competitors.

A Complete Lacrosse Pathway

The Jr. Bandits are part of a larger development system designed to support the growth of the game at every level in Western New York:

  • Learn the Game through school-based programming and introductory clinics
  • Play the Game through organized youth league competition
  • Showcase the Game through elite events like the Underclassmen All-Star Game
  • Celebrate the Game through community recognition nights and Bandits game experiences

This structure connects players, families, schools, and coaches through a shared lacrosse experience built around development and opportunity.

Rooted in the Bandits Identity

As part of the Buffalo Bandits organization, the Jr. Bandits program is deeply connected to the professional game. Players and coaches regularly participate in youth programming, helping to teach the same skills, habits, and standards used at the highest level of box lacrosse.

This connection gives young athletes a unique opportunity to learn directly from professionals who represent Buffalo lacrosse on the biggest stage in the sport.

More Than a Youth Program

The Jr. Bandits exist to do more than run teams and tournaments. Our mission is to grow the game of lacrosse in Western New York by investing in players, supporting local programs, and creating experiences that bring communities together.

From first stick to high school recognition nights, the Jr. Bandits are committed to building a stronger future for lacrosse — one player, one team, and one community at a time.
